 PLEASE NOTE...

D.A.R.E. Is Different.  This is not the same D.A.R.E.  it was in the late 90’s. The curriculum has been completely re-vamped and educates children to meet today’s needs.

The Canadian Chiefs of Police Association has endorsed this new program, and currently the only DARE Training Centre in Canada, is in Ontario.  Enrolment for the upcoming DARE Officer Training, Dec.3-14,2018, is expected to reach capacity, applicants can only be accepted on a first “registered” basis.  This training will include instruction relating to Cannabis facts and consequences, as well as training by a member of the opioid/fentanyl task force.

D.A.R.E. Ontario is announcing a D.A.R.E. Officer Training, to be held at the Ontario Police College, from December 3 - 14, 2018.  Class size is limited, so please request space early.  Agencies requesting seats will receive Joining Instructions in early September.

Included in this training will be evidence and research based instruction on educating elementary grades 5-6on the harmful effects of Cannabis and the importance of making wise and healthy decisions.

There is also a very educational training block dealing with Opioid/Fentanyl use/abuses.
